Can I replace only the outdoor unit?
Rarely. The indoor coil and outdoor unit are designed as a matched pair, and new equipment uses a different refrigerant from older systems. A mismatched pair loses efficiency, usually voids the warranty and often fails early.
How long does an AC replacement take?
Most residential replacements are completed in one day. Jobs that include new ductwork or a relocated air handler take two to three days.
Are there rebates for a new AC in Miami?
